PROGRAM OVERVIEW
EPIC Sports Hockey Academy is structured to mirror the intensity and professionalism of a junior hockey program. We offer our players a comprehensive pathway to develop their game and compete at the highest level.
On & Off-Ice Training
Athletes will train a minimum of four times per week, featuring back-to-back ice and gym sessions on the same day. This holistic approach builds strength, endurance and skill while fostering both mental and physical development. All off-ice training will be under the supervision of EPIC’s Director of Strength & Conditioning Trevor Williamson. In addition to the primary coaching staff, players will also benefit from on-ice sessions with elite skills coaches who provide specialized training to accelerate individual growth.
Game Schedule & Showcases
Our team competes and plays in 60+ games including exhibition, regular season, playoffs and at least 4 showcase tournaments. We will also be engaged in a series of exhibition crossovers with other high-level AAA programs and participate in additional showcase tournaments as a guest team, ensuring our players gain maximum exposure.
Travel & Accommodations
The team will travel by bus a majority of the time, with a flight scheduled for certain showcases (where appropriate). Bus travel and team dinners will be provided by the team. All other travel, meals and accommodation will be at the expense of each family.
Balanced Lifestyle
While players will follow a demanding schedule, including at least 20 home games and frequent travel, we will continue to maintain a strong focus on education, rest and personal downtime. This balanced lifestyle is crucial for players to excel in both the classroom and on the ice, while also serving as leaders in the community.
Each Player Will Receive
- EPIC track suit, sweatshirt, joggers, shorts, t-shirt and hat
- EPIC hockey game jerseys (3), game socks (3), practice jersey, practice socks, pant shell, helmet, gloves and sticks (2)
